Sheffield-based video game development studio Sumo Digital has agreed a partnership with Disney on its Infinity 3.0 game.
Disney Infinity 3.0 is the latest instalment in the action-adventure video game series, which allows players to bring Disney Pixar’s characters to life, from Pirates of the Caribbean to Toy Story and Frozen.
At the two-day event more than 500 people will attend a manufacturers’ dinner on June 24. And there will be a conference, with more than 1,000 delegates, and all-day exhibition with up to 120 stands – double that of last year – at the AMRC training centre on June 25.
Sheffield Design Week is hosted in one of the UK’s most creative cities. Taking place annually, this 7 day festival will host an array of local, regional, national and international design, architectural and creative names. It will showcase all disciplines of design, from graphic design to architecture, advanced manufacturing and technology to fashion and product design and more.
Instead, the workshop contains the technology needed to revolutionise the way thousands of people with facial disfigurements are treated every year.
Tom’s firm Fripp Design, based at the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Catcliffe, Rotherham, has devised a 3D printing method which can make prosthetic facial features for as little as £150 – making the process cheaper, quicker and more accurate.
