A joint venture between Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Sheffield City Council, the Olympic Legacy Park has already received the backing of Lord Sebastian Coe and Olympic boxing champion Nicola Adams.
The planning application for the Olympic Legacy Park (OLP) in the east end of Sheffield includes the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre, which will be run by Sheffield Hallam University pioneering technologies for healthcare companies including Toshiba to help people move more.
The Chambers of Commerce, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, Enterprise Europe Network Netherlands and co-organizers invite you to the SportTechMatch 2015, an international matchmaking event that will be organised on 3 July 2015 in the wake of the start of the Tour de France (‘Grand Départ’) in Utrecht, the Netherlands (4-5 July 2015).
The Tour de France is the biggest annual sports event in the world and it combines tradition with the latest innovations in several areas.
The SportTechMatch will comprise the TOURlab and SportTechMatch business meetings. The intention will be to establish international partnerships between companies, especially small and mediumsized enterprises, and between companies, researchers and technologists. Continue reading
