The Chambers of Commerce, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, Enterprise Europe Network Netherlands and co-organizers invite you to the SportTechMatch 2015, an international matchmaking event that will be organised on 3 July 2015 in the wake of the start of the Tour de France (‘Grand Départ’) in Utrecht, the Netherlands (4-5 July 2015).
The Tour de France is the biggest annual sports event in the world and it combines tradition with the latest innovations in several areas.

Commons catering chiefs claim it costs too much to maintain silver cutlery and insist a new £17,000 stainless steel set – made in Vietnam or Taiwan – will not ‘compromise class or elegance’.
A report accepted by the Commons Administration Committee says the move will save £50,000 in costs including sharpening, burnishing, repair and replacement over the next five years.
But any switch to stainless steel should be to cutlery that is Made in Sheffield, angry manufacturers say. Continue reading

Sheffield Council says it is proud to have agreed this deal with the Government. It says it is on Sheffield’s terms and the content has been driven by the needs of the local economy. It says the deal is not about Sheffield giving powers away to higher authorities, but about the city getting more control over powers currently the responsibility of central Government.
