Part of the UK’s International Festival for Business, the Global Manufacturing Festival (GMF) is specifically designed to help SME’s understand the supply chains for a broad range of high growth market sectors, how they might access them, and where to focus investments to gain future business.
What the GMF is about
As well as a Conference and Trade Show, the GMF is deliberately setting out to network SMEs with large global companies. The GMF is a unique opportunity for smaller businesses to understand what’s coming next and how to sell into global markets.
Who it is targeted at
Over 1,000 SME companies plus global powerhouse names including Siemens, Tata Steel, Boeing and Rolls-Royce. You might be an SME, but that does not mean you cannot sell and do business with these companies. The GMF is here to help you achieve that.
When and where it is happening
The GMF is happening 24 – 25 June 2014 and will be held at The Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) in Sheffield, a world-class centre for advanced machining and materials research for aerospace and other high-value manufacturing sectors.
The beauty of this event is that it is free to attend. Businesses wishing to showcase at the event can do so as they are encouraging manufacturers or those in the manufacturing supply chain to apply for stand space. The cost for this is £800 + vat.
